Moonee Ponds is an inner suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 7 km north-west from Melbourne's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Moonee Valley. Moonee Ponds is home to Queens Park and the Moonee Valley Racecourse.

The Moonee Valley Racecourse is one of Melbourne's four horse racing tracks. In the 1970s harness racing moved to the Valley, when night trotting relocated from the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds.
